What I would snag at the Sephora Sale

It is that time of year again where Sephora is offering up to 20% off on almost all its products. Beauty is least likely to go on sale no matter where you purchase it, so this is the perfect time to stock up! The sale is on now until Friday, May 1st.

Here are my top favorites and purchases for this season’s sale:

Top Favorites:

Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer

This primer is heaven-sent. I have incredibly oily skin, and this is the only primer I have found that works extremely well. It lasts all day and doesn’t feel heavy or anything.

Kiehl’s Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Repairative Hair Pak

The best hair mask I have ever tried. If you like hair masks, then you are going to LOVE this mask. Great scent, easy to work with.Worth every penny.

Benefit Cosmetics Double the Precision Ultra-Fine Brow Defining Pencil Duo

This set even though I don’t own it I know would be a great purchase, I have owed this brow pencil a few times, and I love it. I used to use dip pomade, which I still love, but there is nothing like a good brow pencil, especially for every day.

Lancome CILS BOOSTER XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Base

I have an entire blog post dedicated to my everyday mascara look, but it all starts with this primer. If I don’t use this, I don’t feel like myself, and more importantly, my lashes don’t look as long.

The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

Great mask! Only 10 mins, and my skin feels super smooth. It goes on like a serum, but it’s not lol, and it helps with acne scars and overall texture. The great thing about The Ordinary products is that they are affordable too! One thing to note is that it will make your skin more sensitive to sunlight, so make sure to apply SPF daily.

Sunday Riley Saturn Sulfur Acne Treatment Mask

This mask is great for hormonal acne, which is all I tend to have. The hormonal region on your face is from your lips down to your chin. It dries quick and usually helps even the largest pimple overnight.

OleHenriksen Pore-Balance Facial Sauna Scrub

Another great product for oily/combo skin. This scrub warms up as it makes contact with water to give off a sauna experience right out of the shower!

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder

For months this past year, my makeup wasn’t lasting the majority of the day, and I couldn’t figure out why. I assumed it was my foundation. So I kept exchanging foundations until I found one I liked. But the moment repurchased this setting powder; I realized it was never my foundation. Hands down, if you get anything from this post, this is my top pick. I can’t believe I stopped using this product for so long.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Re(cover) Hydrating Coconut Lip Oil

This product is a relatively new concept in lip products. Lip oils are designed to hydrate, but they dry down, so you get the feeling a lip gloss without the stickiness, and the moisture your lips need.

Jo Malone London Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne

This perfume is my favorite scent in combination with Myrrh & Tonka from Jo Malone too. It is pricier than a lot of what is out there, but the amount of compliments I get wearing this combo makes that worth it. It also lasts for months, and I use it every day almost.

Purchases during this sale:

These are the items I decided to purchase. I will update this post with my thoughts as soon as they arrive, and I try them out!

Herbivore Mini True Blue Skin Clarifying Duo

  • This oil I didn’t care for. And the mask is good but the smell to me is horrid. I have no clue why. It just bothers me so I don’t reach for it that often.

Sephora Collection Jelly Melt Glossy Lip Tint in the shade Mambo

  • These are fantastic. Get them you won’t regret it.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer

  • I love this! I decided that I am going to try more ambient lighting products. I like to use it after my bronzer and blush to just give my skin an extra little glow.

Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask Packette

  • This mask is awesome. 8/10 as far as masks go. Leaves your hair soft and manageable.
