If you color your hair, whether in its entirety or just highlights, your toner is bound to fade.
In comes Kristin Ess, a celebrity hairstylist. She created a product that is a quick and easy way to tone your color between salon visits. For those of you who are not familiar with this kind of product, A hair gloss is a shine treatment for your hair. It helps with frizz, and like this, one can tone your hair too.
Kristen Ess Hair gloss has to be the best hair product I found in 2019. I have been coloring my hair for four going on five years now, and go-to is to do balayage every 3-4 months, so about three times a year. The first time I tried this product, I used the clear version, which I recommend, if you are a little skeptical. Simply put on the product in the shower, and in 20 minutes, you can rinse and shampoo and condition as usual. It also smells great too!
I have tried the colors Smoky Topaz and Bittersweet, but the color I reach for the most is Chocolate Cosmo because it darkens my highlights back to a more caramel color. On Facebook, Kristin Ess has a chart that easily explains which color is right for you. Also, it is only 14 dollars and is exclusively available at Target. I hope this is a permanent product in her line because I see myself using it for years to come.
