Which the year is coming to a close tonight, I thought it would be fitting to scan this year’s Allure Beauty Winners and talk about the products I have actually tried. What I think is the best thing about Allure testing out all these products for consumers is that they do look at a lot of more affordable options. Here are my top picks from this year’s list:
CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser
This is a more recent favorite of mine. It’s part of this new skincare regimen I have been trying, which will be a future blog post. It leaves your skin feeling plump and ready for the day. I didn’t care much for CeraVe products before, but now I use a few and have been seeing significant progress.
Benefit Gimme Brow+
I didn’t think I would like this product as much as I did. But it is the quickest way to fix up your brows without looking heavy. I love using this for workdays or days I want to wear lighter makeup.
Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots
I have reviewed these before; this product is absolutely amazing. I have thick long hair, and these resue shots help when I feel that my hair is dry or overworked.
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
This lip sleeping mask is excellent. I don’t use it as much as I should, but anytime I do, I wake up with the softest lips.
Tweezerman Slant Tweezer
Tweezerman is known to be one of the best. If you are in the market for a new tweezer, I recommend any of them.
Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer
One of my favorite new products this year. My skin type is oily, and this works exceptionally well with that. It’s light, and once you put it on, you feel the tackiness from the blue agave extract but not in a bad way. It makes it feel like it’s going to hold up for a long time.
Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer
Favorite bronzer of all time. It smells like coconut and goes on smoothly. These have 6 different shades, but since I love a good tan, I usually pick up the deep bronze shade.
Urban Decay All Nighter
I didn’t believe in setting sprays until I tried this one. Now a good setting spray won’t be a saving grace when it comes to makeup. I think the root of great makeup starts with great, healthy skin. But this setting spray helps seal everything in for hours. Its the best of all of the ones I have tried.
